In the previous post Injustice: The demon of doom , we discovered that the only way we can suppress injustice in the world is by instilling the virtue of ‘love and respect for humanity’ in every human under the sun. Injustice is an age-old vice that has tormented humanity since sin found its way to the world. It’s an agent of regression that fights against humanity and posterity. Many mortals have been subject to the burdensome yoke of Injustice at one time or another. With advancing of age, Injustice has gained momentum and has become like a fierce tsunami; it has shaken crucial pillars of our society. The world is writhing in pain in the claws of the demon of doom. Injustice fans the flames of many social evils on one hand and squeezes life out of the dreams of its victims on the other. The importance of bringing forth and bringing up children in a controlled environment cannot be overemphasized. Though some people may claim to know what’s best for their children, there are those who really don’t give a damn about their offspring. For a moment, I would like us to ditch our individual beliefs and consider what the author of life defined as an ideal environment for bringing forth new life. Marginalization whether at the national, community or family level is a ruthless violation of the principle of equity/justice/fairness. It’s a flop on duty and responsibility.  Marginalization aborts dreams and hopes of many innocent lives. It cripples its victims, impoverishes them and wastes their lives. Marginalization is a deliberate neglect of the needs of subjects as well as a failure to recognize the wasted potential. The most painful element of marginalization is the amount of untold suffering borne by the marginalized groups. Normally, a sharp contrast exists between the quality of life of the marginalized group and that of the responsible authority. Family is the basic unit of society. Therefore, it goes without saying that society is a composition of families. Hence, a morally ill society is a reflection of morally ill families. When we talk of social evils like corruption, injustice, misuse of power etc. more often we shift our focus to leaders forgetting that leadership is just a title; these people are children born and bred in our families. Honesty and integrity are values esteemed by all value loving entities. These values are highly sought after, though they’re quickly becoming extinct in the present day society. Our society has succumbed to moral decadence, and those responsible for modeling morality have adopted a hands off approach towards eradicating the menace. The truth is, instead of nurturing wholesome children, we’re bringing up children with twisted moral values. Kids that are slowly and unknowingly substituting integrity for popular culture and wisdom for cheap lies. It feels good to lounge in a comfort zone especially when you know the environment out there is hostile, stormy and everything uncomfortable. You close your eyes and pretend all is well forgetting the storm is bound to catch up with you sooner or later. Sadly, that’s what the present society has become.  We all fold our arms hoping things will get better forgetting someone has got to work on them for them to get better. Unfortunately, our lack of responsibility towards maintaining the moral fabric of our society has turned us into a reactive society.
